REDESIGNED AND UPGRADED SYSTEM FOR A NORTHERN READY MEALS PRODUCER

Micromac completely re-designed and upgraded the wastewater treatment infrastructure at the base of one of the country’s leading suppliers of frozen ready meals.  The project included the replacement of an undersized Run Down Screen (RDS), the installation of a complete Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system, and the addition of Helixor aeration units to the treatment system’s balance tank to mix the effluent.

Micromac successfully completed the installation of a major Run Down Screen and spray bar system at a paper mill in Devon, designed to remove paper and plastic waste from the company's effluent at the earliest possible point in the process.

A DIRTY PROBLEM SOLVED FOR OIL RECLAMATION COMPANY

Micromac successfully completed a major refurbishment project on a Biotower operated by a market-leading UK-based specialist waste management group operating in the hazardous waste sector.  It was the first time that the Biotower had been overhauled and, despite the project proving to be considerably more arduous and labour intensive than first envisaged, Micromac succeeded in bringing the project to a successful conclusion - on time and within budget.

This company's cheese-making process produces large quantities of effluent from milk residue, the treatment of which presented a major challenge.  Micromac designed and installed a Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) treatment system which produced immediate cost savings and a significant reduction in wastewater management time.

NEW EFFLUENT TREATMENT SYSTEM SUPPORTS BUSINESS EXPANSION AT MEAT PROCESSING PLANT

Insufficient wastewater treatment capacity was impeding the growth of this part of one of the country's largest food processors.  Micromac redeveloped the treatment system so that significantly larger volumes could be processed within the existing discharge consent limits.  Micromac's new system included Helixor aeration and mixing in a balance tank and two new Run Down Screens, with a new control system.
